Hey! Great to see you here! My name’s Paulo Victor, but you can just call me Paulo (that’s what people usually call me, haha)... I’m currently 19 years old (04/12/2006) and have been living in the USA since 2021. I moved here with my family from Portugal, where I lived for about 3 years. Before that, I lived in Brazil until the end of 2019.
My programming journey started in October 2022 with a simple Discord bot called Abner, which was initially created using the popular Bot Designer for Discord platform and only lasted a short time. By January 2023, I had already switched to JavaScript (using Discord.js), where my knowledge really expanded because I didn’t limit myself and learned by doing — no courses or tutorials. This shift happened alongside a friend I met named Gabriel, who knew way more back then. We teamed up and even planned to launch DevHeaven Apps, a small startup involving Abner and other projects.
In early 2024, I got into web programming — starting with HTML, JS, and CSS. That’s when I decided to dive deeper. As time went on, around mid-2024, I got less motivated about the Discord bot, and DevHeaven didn’t take off. Officially, Abner was discontinued on November 7th, 2024 (you can check the official announcement here: link). We don’t plan to restart development anytime soon.
Abner was a huge success — verified just 2 months after launch (December 2022) and hitting 1,000 servers by February 2024, a little over a year later. At its peak, it had nearly 1 million active users across all servers. People loved it. Crazy, right? Abner has been retired, but it still lives on in its official server, now inactive. As for us developers, we took different paths! Gabriel’s working and super busy... Me? With new projects, a fresh mindset, and moving forward, also working hard. Abner will never be forgotten. Since then, I’ve had countless projects... you can check out some of the biggest ones down below.
Fast forward to today, nearly four years into my development journey, I’ve found my calling in building Christian technology. I’m focused on growing the PLVictor ecosystem by investing heavily in apps and platforms that serve the Kingdom and genuinely help people in their daily lives. Working with modern stacks like Dart, Node.js, Flutter, and Firebase, I’m building products such as Com Ele — a comprehensive Bible study app, now live on iOS and Android — along with church management systems and developer APIs. My goal is simple: to create world-class technology that carries faith, purpose, and real impact.
Oh, and here’s a fun fact: I’ve always been a huge fan of competitive mobile games. You know how it is — we spend hours and hours on games that don’t really add anything meaningful to our lives. I tried channeling that same addictive, competitive energy into Com Ele: Forja, a standalone Bible trivia game — but I came to realize that idea is better served folded directly into Com Ele itself, so Forja as a separate project was discontinued in July 2026. The vision isn't gone, just redirected.
