My first hardware project. Something you can hold.
In Development · Details SoonEverything I have built until now lives on a screen. This one doesn't. Rocksby Hardware is my first hardware project, and it is being built together with João, the founder of Rock Academy.
The idea came from João, and it clicked immediately. We had already planned it just a few days after we started building the Rock Academy platform. Since then we have been building both at the same time: the platform on one side, and this on the other.
Rocksby is the conversation AI inside the Rock Academy app. This project takes that idea out of the phone and into the real world. The whole concept is already mapped out, and it is in active development right now.
We are not saying exactly what it is yet. It is not announced, and some things are better when they are discovered. What I can say is that it is something physical, it is something people will actually hold and use, and it is far from a small side project.
It is a completely new world for me, and I can't wait to show it. We are going to go far.
For now, only the clues
A real, physical device. My first time stepping outside of software.
Rocksby already talks with students inside the app. This takes that experience further.
The full idea is ready and in development. We will reveal it when the time is right.
