The web prototype that started it all — Feb 2025 to May 2026
Discontinued — May 4, 2026Com Ele Web was my first major biblical project — a web-based Bible study platform built to help Christians grow in their faith through modern technology. Development began on January 2, 2025, and the platform officially launched on February 13, 2025.
The platform offered an intuitive interface for reading and studying the Bible, with features like verse highlighting, personal notes, and reading plans. Built as a Progressive Web App (PWA), it provided a native app-like experience with offline support and fast performance — all accessible straight from the browser, with no installation required.
From the very beginning, Com Ele Web was always meant to be a prototype. The vision was never just a website — it was a full-featured, native biblical experience. The web version was the starting point: a way to validate the concept, learn from real users, and build the foundation that would eventually become something much greater.
Everything built here — the features, the design decisions, the user feedback — directly shaped Com Ele. And as the native app arrived, it was time to close this chapter. Com Ele Web was officially discontinued on May 4, 2026. It served its purpose well, and its legacy lives on in the app it helped create.
