In Development · Almost ReadyI have always wanted to build something like this. IrisCut is an AI agent specialized in professional video editing. It has a real video editor, where you record and edit your content, and an agent called Iris that edits with you, or for you.
She adds captions, creates motion graphics, cuts, fixes pacing, adjusts color and sound, and can even generate video with AI. There are a lot of settings, so the result can look like you and not like a template. And since it's an editor, you can always jump in and change anything by hand.
I started in late August 2026 and we are in October with it almost done, already working and in great shape. It is one of the fastest projects I have ever built, probably because of all the experience I have picked up over the years. In about two months I built a lot. I also used AI tools along the way, which felt right for a project about AI, but the decisions and the product are mine.
And I'm not building it alone. I'm working on IrisCut with João, from Rock Academy. We are not just on Rock Academy anymore, we are building projects together and growing together.

Iris is an AI agent made for editing. It watches your footage before touching it, understands people, speech and moments, and edits with a plan.
Not a toy. A full timeline with video, layers, effects, music, voice, text and captions tracks. You record, edit and fine tune right there.
Animated titles, maps, charts, diagrams and graphics that the model creates and edits for you, in the style of your video.
Captions with word by word timing in over 90 languages, several styles and translation, only on speech that is reliable.
Create shots and scenes that never existed, stories with the same character and voices that stay consistent from start to end.
A score from 0 to 100 for hook, pacing, captions, audio and ending, with exact moments to improve.
Ready made styles that set color, captions, voice and pacing at once, plus lots of settings to make it yours.
